Applied Linguistics Inquiry (ALI) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to the advancement of scholarly discussion on current and emergent issues in the field of applied linguistics. We are committed to the global dissemination of high-quality, impactful research and provide a platform for rigorous inquiry into the complexities of language in use.
The journal welcomes empirical papers, conceptual analyses, systematic reviews, and book reviews that contribute significantly to our understanding of language acquisition, language education, translation studies, and the social and psychological dimensions of language learning and teaching which has useful applications for researchers, teachers, students, and other professionals within the field. All articles will undergo rigorous, constructive and transparent peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous evaluation by experts in the field.
